"We Will Remember You"

Karly and her niece Katie July 1996

A Tribute from your sister Kim

Karly was a flower in our life, in the short time she was with us she touched a lot of hearts. She brought joy and happiness to those that knew her.

Karly and I shared a special friendship, not only are we sisters, but our birthdays are a day apart, we look like each other, and we sound like each other. We used to have fun tormenting our boyfriends, friends and families by pretending we were each other on the phone.

Karly always had a lot to say, maybe I shouldn’t have taught her how to talk.

We shared our hearts we shared a home, we laughed and we cried.

Karly wanted to have a normal life, on several occasions she told me she just wanted to grow up, get married and have children, much like myself. I am glad to know that she had a chance to experience the joy of marriage. She never experienced the joy of her own children. She spent time with my children Katie, Kylie and Robbie. Just 2 weeks ago she was at our office carrying Robbie around with Kylie trailing along behind. Kylie drew her pictures. She loved children and the children loved her.

Kylie wants to know where my Karly is we tell her she has gone to heaven, Kylie says no She is in Disneyland. I guess to a small child Disney is Heaven. We believe and pray Karly is in a safe and happy place.
